1^st Annual Bras for the Brave

Artful Bras Against Cancer Auction

Friday October 21, 2011

All proceeds will benefit the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation and the Friends of the Cancer Center

In an effort to promote breast cancer awareness “Artful Bras” are submitted fully decorated as original works of art. Each bra is unique, entertaining, humorous and beautiful.  These bras have been created to memorialize individuals who have lost their battle with breast cancer, celebrate those who have survived, and most importantly provide messages of strength and hope to women everywhere.  Bras are on display at Sew & Sews Place.  You can also view pictures of the bras online via this blog, SewAndSewsPlace.com or on FaceBook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sew-and-Sews-Place/119230061434342.

So how can YOU get involved???

• You can DONATE to the cause by clicking the DONATE button on the right side of the blog page.  This will direct you to PayPal where you can make your donation.  These donations will not go to one bra in particular, but to the cause as a whole.
• Creaters of each bra are selling raffle tickets for $1 each.  Contact the donor directly for your ticket, or contact Sew and Sews Place directly for more information. 
• Bras are on display at Sew & Sews Place now until the event date.  Go by and vote for your favorite bra.  Votes are $1 each and will enter you in final day door prize drawings!
• Come out to the auction event and bid on the bra you love the most!  See below for infomation on the big day!!

It’s sure to be an Uplifting experience!!!
